The role is an office based position handling telephone and email enquiries for the MGA product portfolio. Candidates must have sales skills and a basic understanding of industrial control & instrumentation products and their practical applications. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate a degree of commercial expertise, coupled with well developed interpersonal skills and an effective and comfortable telephone manner.
£ base salary will be competitive depending on experience + profit share -
Business Development Engineer (BDE/1)
The role is to sell the Company portfolio of control & instrumentation products & services to both new and existing customers throughout the North West. The successful candidate will be self motivated, a good team player and comfortable working within a target driven sales environment. A good understanding of the sales process with previous experience within external sales will be essential.

Business Development Engineer (Water Industry) BDE/2
MGA Controls Ltd has recently entered into an exclusive agreement with both Singer Valve and Val-matic to supply quality valves into the UK and Europe.
- Singer Valve has a worldwide reputation for quality and technical innovation in Water pressure management and loss control Valmatic is a market leader for the supply of air release valves, plug valves and check valves into Utilities, Construction and Industrial market sectors.
- MGA Controls will supply these products directly to end users within the water utilities sector, water treatment and sewage plants and for irrigation and fire applications.
We are looking for an experienced business development manager with first hand experience of water distribution and water treatment applications. The successful candidate will have first hand knowledge of pressure control valve applications particularly within the leakage management arena. He/she will have worked within the industry for at least 10 years and will have an extensive network of contacts.
