Knife-Gate Valves are designed to minimise pressure drop across the valve in the fully opened position and stop the flow of fluid completely. Knife-Gate Valves are ideal for bidirectional, low-friction flow and 100% shut-off and are advantageous in applications involving slurries and applications that involve viscous liquids such as heavy oils, light grease & varnish. They are used in industries such as Oil & Gas, Water, Waste-water and Irrigation, Sludge, Steam and Mining.
