As pioneer in plastics and injection moulding technology ASV Stübbe have been producing valves and pumps for pipework construction for over 40 years. A successful global company covering markets in China, Spain and France and with partnerships with companies in South Africa, Italy and Romania.
ASV Stübbe develop, produce and market valves, pumps, measurement and control systems. Their modern machinery and qualified engineers guarantee a consistent high quality. In 1961 ASV Stübbe manufactured the first moulded ball valve that was fully made of plastic.
ASV Stübbe produce valves that are resistant against aggressive media.
ASV Stübbe produce ball valves, diaphragm valves, diaphragm gate valves, butterfly valves, pressure control valves and solenoid valves. In response to the individual product requirements of their buyers ASV Stübbe use corrosion resistant metals and PVC-U, PVC-C, PP, PP-n, PE, PVDF, PTFE. The sealing materials used by ASV Stübbe varies dependant on medium and stress.
Ball valves produced by ASV Stübbe fall in to four categories offering a wide range of process application solutions
- Industrial and chemical applications, ND 10-150
- Water treatment – Low cost ball valves for water, ND 15- 50
- Special -Ball valves for specific applications such as electroplanting, ND 15-150
- Supply engineering – PE ball valves for gas, water and waste water supply technology

ASV Stübbes Innovative Process Application Solutions Wins Them Award
ASV Stübbe were award winners at ACHEMA. They were given the Process Innovation Award for their dosing ball valve ProfiProp for having one of the most innovative applications and processes at the exhibition.
To win this award ASV Stübbe succeeded in meeting the following criteria;
Quality of the innovation
Efficiency
Economic viability
ASV Stübbes ProfiProp has unique control behaviour due to the new design of the valve ball which gives it precise reproducibility of the flow quantities.
The dosing ball valve is supplied as a manual valve; it can be fully controlled with ease automatically via an external control system. The ProfrProp is an economical alternative to a diaphragm valve for use with fluids that have no solid particles.
ASV Stübbes W1 PVC ball valve Now with ANSI, BSP and PE connections
The W1 PVC Ball Valve was introduced in 2006 it is suitable for a system pressure of up to 10 bar and is cost effective. The W1 PVC Ball Valve was designed and built for water applications such as pool water.
The standard valve is supplied with PVC DIN cement welding connections but the new options available include PVC ANSI cement welding connections and PVC threaded connections. PE butt welding connections according to DIN are also available.
The W1 PVC valve is available in PVC-U in varying dimensions of DN15 to DN 50. The sealing is made of Santoprene®, (TPE based on EPDM Elastomere). The ball spindle is sealed with two O-rings and the ball is kept flush safe within the valve’s body. The W1 offers a maximum of safety for a very economic price.
The Ideal Ball Valve for Water and Non-Critical Applications
ASV Stübbes new CL1 closes the gap in the market between simple ball valve W1 (designed for water, swimming pool and fishkeeping applications) and the chemical ball valves of the C series. The CL1 is ideal for water treatment and critical water applications. It is cost efficient and highly reliable.
The PVC-U ball valve is designed for applications in the irrigation technology, water treatment, fish farming, agriculture and geothermal industries. It is available in a wide range of dimensions from DN 15 to DN 50. The internal ball’s diameter is designed to suit the internal pipe diameter which gives an optimum Kv value. The maximum rated pressure is PN10 for sizes up to DN 65, and PN 6 for sizes from DN 80 to DN 100. The ball seats are made from PTFE and the soft seals are made form EPDM.
Its excellent value for money makes the CL 1 the ideal ball valve for all applications involving water as well as for non-critical chemical applications.
