Plastic Ball Valves

Ideal for use in applications where aggressive chemicals are used, such as CIP in Food & Beverage.

Plastic Ball Valves

The advantages of thermoplastic valves are very well known; they can offer resistance to corrosion and chemical abrasion, they will often be of lighter weight materials and perhaps may even represent a lower lifecycle cost. Plastic Ball Valves are ideal for use in applications where aggressive chemicals are used, such as CIP in Food & Beverage.

In recent times, there has been a wider acceptance of plastic valves in both commercial and industrial applications. We can now see them in clean and wastewater applications, chemical processing, food and pharmaceuticals, power plants, petrochem and many other industries.

Ball valves, check valves, butterfly valves and diaphragm valves are available in each of the different thermoplastic materials and are available with a multitude of trim options and accessories.

Plastic valves are available in a number of different materials. Perhaps the most common thermoplastic valves are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), polypropylene (PP), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).
