What is a combined FRL box set?
A Combined FRL Box Set is a pre-assembled air preparation assembly that comprises a range of components designed to offer a complete air treatment solution. Most commonly, they include a Filter/Regulator, a Lubricator and associated fittings and wall mounting brackets. Optionally, other accessories can be added including Pressure Switches and 3/2-Way Shut Off Valves.
An example of one of our pre-assembled Combined FRL Box Sets is the IMI Norgren BL64 Series.
What is a pneumatic filter?
A pneumatic filter such as the IMI Norgren F74G Series is a device which removes contaminants from a compressed air stream, by either using a “media” which traps particles, but allows air to pass through, or by using a membrane that only allows air to pass through.
What is a pressure regulator?
A pressure regulator such as the IMI Norgren R74G Series is a valve that automatically regulates the flow of a liquid or gas based on a certain inlet pressure. Regulators are used to allow high-pressure fluid supply lines or tanks to be reduced to safe and/or usable pressures for various applications.
What is a lubricator?
A Lubricator such as the IMI Norgren L64 Series is a device that injects an aerosolised stream of oil into the airline. This is used to provide lubrication for internal working parts of pneumatic tools and components such as actuating cylinders, valves and motors, ensuring they perform at the optimum level at all times.
