DBB Series – Alco Double Block & Bleed Valves
The Alco DBB valve consists of two types of Double Block & Bleed Valve. The DBB ‘B’ Valve is a Double Block & Bleed Ball Valve in ‘Ball-Needle-Ball’ configuration, and features a 3-Piece construction. It features Bi-Directional floating ball design to ensure leak-proof shut-off on pressure or vacuum. The valve is fully approved to be supplied to the world’s major oil suppliers, and has been specifically designed to provide double isolation for calibrating and testing pressure instrumentation.
The Alco DBB valve ‘N’ Series is a similar concept, but rather than using ball valves it employs the use of Needle Valves to provide the Isolation in a ‘Needle-Needle-Needle’ configuration. It is a single piece, 3-valve manifold solution and is suitable for use with up to +427°C.
