David is a chartered engineer with a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Control & Instrumentation.
He has worked as a design engineer in the Process and Nuclear industry for many years before serving on the board of two ‘blue-chip’ manufacturing companies, where he complemented his technical experience with a strong commercial background.
David became the majority shareholder of MGA Controls Ltd in 2005 and has gone on to establish the company as a serious player in the world of valves and Instrumentation solutions. He has led the way in introducing a professional approach to the sales processes and has created a company that whilst, remaining nimble and flexible, also has a strong corporate identity.
