Air operated valves, also known as pneumatic piston valves or air operated piston valves are designed to function effectively in a wide range of high demanding industry applications. Often used in applications where there is excess ambient temperature or high-pressure steam duty, air operated valves are multifunctional and can be used with varying media, including: air, water, hydraulic oil and steam.
In order to allow the valves to operate effectively with dangerous media, the piston valve material has to be durable. Air operated valves from MGA Controls are manufactured from only the most hard-wearing and robust material selection, including bronze, brass and stainless steel. These materials are recognised for their ability to operate in hazardous environments without damaging the service life of the valve.
