Conductivity Sensors

About Conductivity Sensors

Conductivity sensors focus on measuring the ability of a solution to conduct an electric current, providing valuable insights into the concentration of ions and overall solution conductivity. They typically consist of two or four electrodes that come into contact with the liquid. The electrical conductivity between these electrodes is measured, and variations indicate changes in ion concentration.

The choice of sensor materials is crucial to avoid corrosion or contamination. Materials like stainless steel or titanium are often used for the electrodes to ensure compatibility with a wide range of liquids. Mainly used for water quality monitoring, chemical processing and environmental monitoring.
