The Val-Matic range of Check Valves or Non-Return Valves (NRV’s) are available in a wide range of body and seating materials, sizes and various other options, and can meet the requirements of many applications from potable water, to abrasive slurries and corrosive chemicals. As the exclusive UK partner to Val-Matic, MGA Controls Ltd are the market leading supplier of Waste Water Non-Return Valves in to the Water Treatment and Utilities sector.
The main feature of the Val-Matic Non-Return Valves is their anti-slamming design and technology. All of the Check Valves are designed in a way which reduces water slamming, headloss, turbulence and the associated surges and build up of reverse backflow.
Furthermore, the Val-Matic Swing-Flex™ and Surgebuster Swing Check Valves are WIMES compliant (referred to as Resilient hinge swing check valve and Recoil resilient hinge swing check valve). The Swing Check valves have also been extensively trialled throughout the UK water sector and are now approved for use in the major water utility companies.
