After finishing school, Owen completed a sales apprenticeship at a valve and actuator distribution company, continuing to do another qualification in team leadership, with the view of progressing into a management position later in his career. He quickly realised that the cut and thrust of sales was the direction he wanted to go in and went from strength to strength within the company, excelling specifically in generating new business.

Seeking a new challenge, Owen joined MGA Controls as a Key Account Manager and after two years of proving his worth, was promoted to Business Development Manager. During this time, he has received substantial support in growing his technical knowledge of a variety of product ranges and solutions, particularly process sensors. In addition to refining his technical ability, there was also a more focused approach to daily prospecting, which led him to the unfathomable potential of the hydrogen industry, which we have seen some great success stories in.
