Plastic Butterfly Valves

Plastic Butterfly Valves are generally of the concentric type, in that the shaft and disc are directly in the centre line of the valve and pipeline. The seal is created by the disc rotating and deforming the elastomer seat, preventing the passing of the process media.

Plastic valves are generally suited to applications involving aggressive chemicals, and are available in a range of materials such as PVC, PP and PVDF. Various seal materials are also available depending on the process media.

Plastic Butterfly Valves are available in sizes ranging from DN50 to DN400, with Wafer or Flanged Connections. They can be supplied with a manual hand lever, or fitted with pneumatic or electric actuators.
