John started work as an apprentice at GEC Ruston Diesels (manufacturers of Diesel Propulsion engines for Trains and ships), completing a 3 year apprenticeship, gaining a HNC in Mechanical & production Engineering and eventually moving into the Sales Office. He moved to an international manufacturer of safety relief valves in 1984, working in various sales/Projects positions supplying Safety Relief Valves into the Petrochemical and Oil/Gas industries both for offshore and onshore. He joined MGA Controls in 2014, where he now works mainly serving the Water Companies & Contractors. John’s interests include Motorcycling, Photography and supporting Wigan Rugby League.
