Trainee Internal Sales and Goods Dispatch

Office based role – Burscough, Lancashire, L408JW

The Role

We have an office based career opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to develop a career within technical sales and dispatch management. The suitable candidate will undertake a programme of training to equip them in sales, stock management and goods dispatch procedures.

We will provide full product and sales training and the successful candidate will develop the sales skills to support future career progression into a full time sales role if that is what is desired. Candidates must have a natural interest or flair for engineering or mechanical components and the ability to absorb information and to learn quickly.

The successful candidate will be required to contribute in each of the following areas.

• To learn and apply our quality control procedures for goods received and the dispatch of goods.
• To promote and sell a range of valves and valve actuation packages
• To promote and sell the Control &Instrumentation products from the manufacturers for whom MGA Controls are distributors and agents.

The successful candidate will expected to carry a sales conversion target and will be able to demonstrate having worked in this type of environment previously.

Interpersonal skills


Interest for engineering or mechanical components


Good telephone manner


Worked in a similar environment


IT Literature


Educated to A-Level – relevant qualifications




Effective communication
